A non-extensive list of times I didn’t say No.

I didn’t say no because they were a grown-up. I did what I was told because that was what I was supposed to do. Go and give granny a kiss. Give gramps a hug, don’t be shy. Don’t be a brat. Don’t be rude. He’ll be upset if you don’t. Respect your elders. Because I said so.

I didn’t say no because I was well-behaved and compliant. A good little girl. That’s what they told me.
