A Road Trip from Europe to Asia
A drive through two continents, and three millennia.
Driving from Europe to Asia sounds extreme, but in reality, you cross a bridge. Turkey straddles the two continents, an eternal in-between. I set off from my home in Bulgaria a week ago, ready for adventure, and to leave the slowly frosting mountains for the 80-degree sunshine days of Turkey’s Mediterranean coast. What I found along the way was a unique slice of culture, as Europe merges and blends into the Middle East.
