“I’m a good guy” a man once whispered in my ear on a date, before he grabbed me, prevented me from moving and violated me. “Trust me.” In his mind, there is no irony to this. In his mind, as he assaults me, it is not assault, because he is not the kind of person that assaults women. He is a good guy.
